My final goal was to create a prototype for a night stand, placed next to the bed. After experimenting different shapes, I decided to inspire my lamp like the ocean waves because of its curves and symbol of calmness. The light bulb’s structure is what kept the whole piece consistent even after folding it numerous times, without the need to use an adhesive material.
